    Hi ewong
  • frg_away
ewong bug 1407907 rings a bell. Was the same for 2.48 I think. nthomas found something in the configs and you worked some magic.

    ewong bug 1351984 comment 31
  • ewong
but I had already fixed the win32_info.txt file ;/
  • ewong
frg_away: thanks for the point-out... will compare that with what I have
  • frg_away
ewong should it still look at aus2? Isn't this balrog now? maybe there is some copied data on it with wrong names?
  • ewong
frg_away: something is changing the win32's 2.48 buildid path back to the bad version
  • ewong
    just renamed that... retriggered
  • frg_away
ewong will see that I get the release notes done over the weekend in case this goes fast. Any chance updates from 2.48 will work?
  • ewong
frg_away: no.. 2.48 updates isn't going to work.
  • frg_away
ewong so 2.48 to 2.49.1 is broken too or just 2.xx to 2.48+?
  • ewong
    2.40 to 2.48+
  • frg_away
ewong ah ok . Expected that.
  • ewong
    frg_away: I know.. that sucks..
  • frg_away
ewong yes but this was known. so nothing new here. Hope that 2.48+ updates work but we will see. Voodoo at its best I think :) Let me know if/when I should test something.
  • ewong
frg_away: it's not going to work until 1) we get balrog done.. 2) we change our update code to point to the new update server
  • ewong
so 2.49.1 will need an update-server-url update
  • ewong
    as should 2.54+
  • ewong
memory.. Y U SUK SO BAD?
  • frg_away
ewong no ecc in brain? :)
  • ewong
    busted ecc

  • DJ_Keith
It seems netflix does not support Seamonkey
  • frg_away
DJ_Keith no proprietary with EME. Runs only in selected browsers.
  • tonymec|away
frg_away asked if I'd been "seen" when I was afk, and now that I look, he just left. Ahlala. Next time, send me a memo.
  • Mc
tonymec|away: nothing special, they made seen with all of the council, beginning with ratty

Hello all... I've found a mozilla.support.seamonkey syndicated to the USENET newsserver I use, but messages I post there seem to be ignored. Bad timing, or do these groups only accept messages from a single server?
  • werwolf
hi I was now a while in Linux and have downloaded seamonkey. Buw why it does not offer deb package?
  • werwolf
    accidentaly I dondloaded tar.bz2
  • therube_agone
njsg: no idea about that? but people are here, even if they may not answer ;-)
  • debdog
prolly because there's no one vulinteering for the job and .debs are only for deb based systems while the tar should™ work on most platforms
  • debdog

Sometimes I tend to even forget the effort involved in the builds, given that the distro here compiles everything locally, so the only thing it needs is the source and volunteers on the distro side.
  • njsg
therube_agone: it's just that it's not the first time I think posts are being ignored, so I wonder if I should be reading it from somewhere else
