11:29:50 This is with regards to the click event issue I have raised(https://github.com/mozilla/geckodriver/issues/1675) 11:31:06 the click event works on x86 but seems to be failing on ppc64le when executed as part of the selenium-python test file .It works manually, using developer tools as well as using a js script 11:35:24 Lysanne0201: hey! great to have you here 11:35:38 and thanks for your interest to help investigtating this problem 11:35:51 I would suggest that you have a look at https://firefox-source-docs.mozilla.org/testing/marionette/NewContributors.html first 11:35:59 and clone the repository 11:36:20 as best even read the parts in how to build firefox (artifact build) and get the Marionette tests running 11:36:38 the problem is actually in Marionette, so we will directly get started there instead of geckodriver 14:11:13 okay I will start working on that right away. 14:47:48 Lysanne0202: when you have questions let me know 14:48:05 hopefully the build will work on your platform 14:49:18 okay so wanted to clarify something...We did build geckodriver for our platform and it worked . 14:49:18 So marionette is not specifically part of the geckodriver code ... hence It would make sense for me to build it again? 14:50:44 Lysanne0202: to investigate the problem we only have to focus on Marionette, right 14:51:14 so if `./mach bootstrap` runs fine for you the build should also work 14:51:26 just make sure to select Firefox Artifact build 14:51:38 and I assume you directly work on that particular platform? 15:03:39 yes I use the ppc64le platform directly. 15:05:30 while building firefox, I did run ./mach bootstrap , and it went through most of the steps . However in the end gave a messgae about Nodejs and Stylo could not be installed via taskcluster. I will run ./mach bootstrap for marionette and check though. 15:06:01 you may not need those for artifact bulds 15:06:16 make sure to pick the string as printed at the end for the mozconfig file 15:06:32 which enables the artifact build 17:50:41 whimboo: bumping james' request from a few weeks ago -- Can you change the topic to: Moving to: https://chat.mozilla.org/#/room/#interop:mozilla.org | Home of tooling and infrastructure to create a predictable and interoperable web | logs https://mozilla.logbot.info/interop 18:39:22 done
